Jack Monroe

WHY I'M TAKING THE CHALLENGE

I lived through poverty, and although employed and 'doing okay' now, still bear the scars. I suffer with severe anxiety and panic attacks, triggered by brown envelopes, unfamiliar letters, any bills, or knocks on the door when I am alone. Poverty in one of the richest economies in the world is a blight on society, poverty anywhere in a world with enough resources for us all is a damning indictment of greed and inequality. Please donate, and let us try to end poverty locally, nationally, globally. Thankyou.
